THE ELECTION DAY
JOY EXPERIMENT

On Election Day, SoulPancake and The Joy Experiment went to a polling station and asked people to put aside their politics, and experience a little joy together on a stressful day. Naturally, we brought a bounce castle to help us out. See the results.

WHAT WAS THE IDEA?
This Election has been one of the most divisive in American history, and the toxic climate on social media has been exhausting. Now that our votes have been cast, we wanted to shift the conversation from the things that divide us to the things that (re)unite us.

THE EXPERIMENT, PART I
We're running an on-the-ground experiment in Los Angeles with our friends from SoulPancake and Joymode. We'll have those results for you tomorrow.

THE EXPERIMENT, PART II
If you can't make it to our live experiment, you can still take part: we're attempting to counter-program social media to see if we can change the conversation to focus on what connects us, instead of what divides us.
